When there is not a trusting environment, people will lie, hide and fake it. People will not take responsibility for mistakes. They will not acknowledge mistakes and will hide them from others. People will not disclose that don’t know what they are doing for fear of being ridiculed. They are more concerned with being humiliated because others will find something wrong with their work. Without a trusting environment people will fear breaking the rules instead of doing the right thing. Without a trusting environment people will lose the will to work.
