As you get ready to begin a new year consider this question: Are you learning as fast as the world is changing? One of the most important things that any leader needs to do is to learn. What you knew five years ago might not apply to tomorrow. The amount of new technical information is doubling every two years which means half of all the technical information is outdated in three years. We are under constant pressure to learn new things. Being able to help others make sense of a fast changing world is one of the most important roles a leader. Leaders don't have to be experts in everything but leaders do need to understand what is going on and the implications for their organization. So in the new year consider what you will learn.
